Branding & Identity Design

A brand is not a logo. It is what people expect from you before they read a word — and a redesign that changes the mark without changing the expectation is expensive decoration.

Branding & Identity Design

What A Branding Project Covers

From what you stand for through to how it appears everywhere.

Brand Strategy

Positioning, audience, differentiators and messaging, agreed before any visual exploration.

Naming

Name generation and screening for products and companies, with domain and trademark checks.

Logo & Identity

Primary and secondary marks, built to work at favicon size as well as on a building.

Visual System

Colour, typography, imagery, iconography and layout rules that hold together across every medium.

Tone Of Voice

How the brand writes, with examples of the same message in and out of voice.

Brand Guidelines

A practical guide that anyone in your team or agency can actually follow.

What You Receive

Full asset library

Every logo variant in vector and raster formats, organised and named sensibly.

02

Guidelines document

Clear rules with examples of correct and incorrect use — the part people actually read.

03

Digital application

Website, app and social applications of the identity, not just a static logo sheet.

04

Print application

Stationery, signage and collateral templates with correct print specifications.

05

Design tokens

Colour and typography as tokens so your product inherits the brand directly.

06

Rollout support

Help applying the identity across existing assets and channels during transition.

Who We Design For

Design Capabilities Beyond The Screens

What makes a design usable by developers and durable as the product grows.

Design systems

Documented components, variants and tokens rather than a folder of finished screens.

Tokens in code

Colour, spacing and type exported in a form engineering consumes directly.

Every state designed

Empty, loading, error and edge cases handed over with the happy path.

Accessibility

Contrast, focus order, target sizes and screen reader behaviour checked during design.

User research

Interviews and usability testing, so decisions come from evidence rather than internal debate.

Build review

We review the implemented interface against the design and log the differences.

How A Brand Project Runs

Typically six to twelve weeks, with strategy taking the first third.

Discover

Stakeholder interviews, audience research and competitive review.

Strategy

Positioning, personality and messaging agreed in writing before design.

Design

Identity directions explored, tested in context and refined to one.

System and rollout

Full system, guidelines and application across your channels.

Branding Questions

Everything you need to know about our design work.

Two or three genuinely distinct directions, each properly developed. Presenting a dozen options usually means none of them were thought through, and it turns the decision into a preference poll rather than a strategic choice.

We do preliminary screening for obvious conflicts and check domain and handle availability. Formal registration is a legal process that needs a trademark attorney, and we will tell you when a direction looks risky enough to check early.

Sometimes the honest answer is no — that the problem is positioning or product, not identity. We would rather tell you that in the first conversation than take on a project that will not fix what is actually wrong.

That is often the right call. Evolving an existing identity keeps the recognition you have already paid for while fixing what no longer works. It is a shorter project and we scope it separately.
